Standard shit found in literally any online community ever, from every single other /vg/ thread to specific subreddits/forum sections in other games. It's not a unique or distinctive feat in the slightest, nor does it grants it a higher status than what is the average for online communities. It's not even a job of creation per se, but mostly of merely gathering the data everyone posted and assembling it one place.
One guy wrote a 90 page essay on bloodborne's theorycrafting. That alone is far more than any of this standard community effort.

What I don't understand is why people keep talking about this character as if she was meaningful or anything. She just appears like twice or so just for a few minutes and everything involving this scene and everything behind it had the worst pacing I've ever seen in anything. You're just thrown in the middle of it without even knowing what is happening as if you were extremely late to the party and that's it.

You need to use exactly zero of them because it would be stupid financially to use them, or because they are completely unnecessary if they are not something that simply lets you kill trash mobs faster.
BBI was incredible. Mostly new enemies or at least ones with new abilities. Debuffs actually matter. Things like dousing enemies in oil can actually help a lot. "Trash mobs" had dangerous debuffs rather than annoying ones. Using expensive things like blast arrows and periapts is not just viable but in some cases required, and they are much more economically viable now. New bosses are actually hard, especially their harder versions which can 2hit you and/or fight in pairs. Things like the Living Armors made you completely rework how you approached the levels. Hitting enemies' weak points ceased to be a method of speeding up repetitive fights and started being your goal if you didn't want to get decimated when fighting 3 gorecyclops at once. The new loot gave you something excellent to strive for, the list goes on. It fixed most of the things lacking in the original game and packed them all together densely in a mega dungeon. Most of all it added a real sense of danger to the game.
It was an experience that added as much fun as any of those others mentioned.

Big empty nothing with enemies dropped every so many meters. The weapons were mostly useless shit. So were the armors. Round two enemies are a fright too if you go in blind. More so if they do an alternate spawn on a quick chest run just when you thought you had things figured out. Death by that point can spawn anywhere as well so you're on your toes through most of the BBI experience as a whole.
