I agree about the listening thing, those are so goddamn annoying. The one in the airport (Which you have to do twice) takes something like 18 minutes, and if you do anything to attract attention, you have to start from the beginning. I ended up cheesing it with stealth camo.

The stealth has no substance, it can control as smoothly as it wants but bottom line is the AI is blind as a bat and all the camo options in the game is a joke. I don't give a fuck the game has 10 different machine guns, its not actual substance. The level designs are a pitiful joke when "open world stealth" in afghanistan is basically a bunch of corridors leading you one way into the level and one way out. Its the same basic missions over and over, fucking PW had 10x more variety than any of the missions V had. I'd also take PW's bunch of bulletsponge robot bosses over a handful of joke enemies that just have bunch of health.

Metallic Archaea is easy, just bring D-Walker with the mini-gun and stay in a small, tight area so the Skulls can't throw rocks at you or do their lunge attack that knocks you off DW.
Sahelanthropus is easy too, just bring the grenade launcher with the most ammo and the CGM. The only hard part in this is hiding from the rail gun, and that's easy if you just pay attention.
Now, A Quiet Exit, that's some hard shit.

Yeah I wasn't including them because you don't have to fight them. But I guess that's true of the sniper skulls too. Regardless, the game had plenty of boss fights. Just not the traditional named-character-with-a-healthbar kind. But MGS has always went outside the box when it came to bosses so I don't see the problem with having so many nontraditional ones. I guess people wanted something dumb like a shirtless brawl against Skullface. Like that wouldn't seem out of place at all.

But, a fight with Skullface would be awesome. They just had to make sure you had the boss fight, AFTER skullface died. Sometime near the end of Chapter 2. Make it like a dream sequence. He taunts you and shit. No matter how much you kill him, he always comes back and regenerates. Taunting you the whole way, goading you to continue the endless cycle of retaliation.
The fight will honestly never end. Not until you the player, without prompting, decides to turn around and walk away.
And as you walk away, he will scream and yell, ask you to come back, to fight like a man, be the warrior you are meant to be. But you keep walking away, and his voice grows more distant.
And then it all fades. You look up.
You are standing in front of a mirror now, all the more certain of who you are, and what you must do. I liked them all. Sally looked kind of silly but the boss fight was the most hype Metal Gear fight in the series. Eli was a nice spin on a boss because you were stuck playing defense. Quiet was The End without switching areas constantly. The sniper skulls were intense as fuck too, especially after my Quiet got pulled out. The Metallic Archea skulls were probably the worst ones. They were fun but having to keep an eye on all four got annoying.

I really don't know what people are talking about with this.Late game guards spot my punkass so far away that I almost want to call bullshit. I'm talking straight to alert, no horseshiting around. Sure, there are instances where I'm sitting there wondering how a guard can't possibly see me, but more times than not this isn't the case.
Crawling is just too OP in the game, and shouldn't add any additional "camo" to you unless you are in grass, or something.

The level design is actually pretty good and reminiscent of MGS3 in a lot of ways (just without a real GG like base). The only real issue I have with the open world nature is that tank Side Ops aren't roaming patrols, and bases don't go fucking nutso with more armored vehicles if an alert happened in the game previously. At least put D-Walker patrols in and around a camp if it is in the orange.

Sadly this is true, but it's honestly more along the fact that the game didn't get the time it needed to add in those fun missions. Hell, the campaign wasn't even fully completed, and I'm sure Kojima wanted/expected another year of development to polish the game up before Konami told him they wanted out of video games. It isn't much of a mystery why the release date for MGSV came out almost immediately before news of Kojima leaving the company.
