That game has some cool concepts, but it's FAR too easy. You have to actively plan ahead, clear zones in the correct order and be careful not to lock a zone to your current level by stepping into it too early.
You also have to avoid any extra sources of exp, never use the fateshift mechanic, never use armor that's too protective, never use the overpowered spells like meteor, never craft masterwork items etc. etc.
It's a huge hassle just to keep some semblance of challenge in the game.

However, a few of the people i often talk to have a problem with nudity. This makes it hard to shill a game i want others to enjoy if it contains material that said person doesn't tolerate. My best friend in particular, around the time I played said game, had a very hard time attempting to complete the game, which he never accomplished. This was because his family wasn't ok with nudity. Imagine how many sales they lost because parents were not ok with nudity in video games? I'm fine with the nudity, but from a marketing standpoint it doesn't make much sense. It makes the creator lose sales, it makes some people uncomfortable, and it makes it harder for people to experience the game.

From what I can gather DI probably didnt sell well, but honestly more factors into a games sales than just if it has boobs or not. GoW 1 had boobs and a sex minigame. Exclusively the DS entries. Pure stylus controls just ruins it for me. Its a shame too because in Spirit Track's case I still have a lot of positive things to say, such as Zelda's characterization and the music was pretty charming.
