It does seem really weird considering it's maybe 30 minutes long and, by their own description, is more of a proof of concept than an actual demo representative of what the final product will be
The fact that they have all this seemingly planned support makes me think that there has to be some back up plan in case this fails; Not necessarily a Red-Ash situation where another company comes in and just gives them the money they need, but maybe a reworked deal with 505 and an attempt to make the game on a smaller budget, or maybe they try the campaign again in a month with a lower goal
