Saints Row 2 is like a Goofier GTA Pre-IV
Saints Row 3 is very wacky but people found it too much of a departure from 2
Saints Row 4 Finds a nice middle ground with sweet Crackdown-like superpower mechanics.
Gat Out of Hell is just a standalone expansion of 4 (much like Blood Dragon)

The menu is awful but the game ran perfectly for me. Saint's Row 2 was by far my favorite. Had a lot of customization.
