There's never been a game developed in Japan that had good dialogue.
To be fair I feel like this is a problem of translation.

Also the games get translated so probably a fuckton stuff gets lost in translation, not really the same.

You mean the screenshot/quotes or have you played the game? Because VP's script is long as fuck despite how the dialogue isn't particularly convulted.
