Has anyone played this? Is it any good? and is it worth buying?
it's awesome imo. it has a slow start, but once you're in the groove of things it really becomes insanely fun. definitely buy if you're a fan of D2. it's on sale now right? better now than later. it's about to get out of it's early access phase too.

it's titan quest, but with lots of overall improvements and a grimdark setting. i like it more than i liked TQ
I'd wait a bit since the game isn't completely done. It's basically 90% done and rather stable in it's current state, but full release is right around the corner (or so the devs say).
Devs are adding a fuck load of gear and a new leveling system that basically changes the way you make your builds. Sure they'll add that in, balance it out, finish up the final act, and bam; full release.

this
It is a natural progression on titans quest and has probably been the single best "spiritual successor made by people from the same team" to come out of Kickstarter.

Has there actually be a game claiming to be a "spiritual successor" good outside of Grim Dawn?

It's great but wish it worked with a F10 controller
>early access
>no sale, 24.99
i dunno man... that's enough to kill my boner
are they planning on adding new classes?

They did about a month ago.

yes, is pretty good, one of the best arpg out there, still in early acces and need polish. but so far is pretty fucking good.
Yes
On sale it goes for about £10, usually goes on sale when a big update is out.

No, because normally a kikestarter "spiritual successor" has absolutely fuck all to do with whatever it is succeeding from in any way, shape, or form besides a name.
Grim Dawn might as well be an actual successor because it is almost exactly Titan Quest 2 with a different setting.

it's like Champions of Norrath-double espresso edition

Titan Quest was good right?
