Mech Commander is underrated.
Sure it wasn't that great of a game, but it wasn't shit either. Underrated as hell.

who plays MWO?

Any games that come close to Battletech? MEchs, customization, the way damage is inflicted, variety of units?

Armored Core has mech customization down but its too arcadey. Front Mission is kinda in the neighborhood and the gameplay is fun tactics stuff.

A mercenary rogue-like campaign in BT would be fucking amazing.

Really hope the new game keeps things pre-3049. I love the Clan storyline, but it's seeped into almost everything done with Battletech/Mechwarrior recently. Let's just have us some Inner Sphere fuckery for once.
