Sera was the only character in an RPG that I actually refused to let join my party. I'm usually very OCD about collecting all the party members and I'm really open minded about characters.

Sera's problem isn't her character, or her perspective. We've had plenty of characters with annoying personalities and beliefs. The problem is there's no way to engage with her halfway. You either have to have the patience of a saint and run interference one every little thing she does and says to keep her from throwing a bitch fit, or just fucking toss her out on her ass. There's no inbetween. No opportunity to show her her attitude isn't always right. Not even that it's wrong, but simply not always going to make things go well. You try and point out her meddling led you into a trap? Nope, all the noble's fault, why are you blaming me, you don't hate all nobles or something!?
Dialog with her goes out of its way to make the Inquisitor look stupid and ask purposefully weird questions to set up Sera's "witty" and "down to earth" personality. You get an opportunity or two to get back at her without her getting all bitchy, but its rare. Your dialog with her basically consists of saying logical stuff that you also know is going to trigger Sera to get all pissy. There's really no compromise with her.
The best way it plays out is being diplomatic when you can, then Sera will grudgingly not treat you like shit when you finish her heart to heart quest.

The thing people don't seem to understand about elves is that they're naturally haughty and arrogant. Not by any fault of their own, they just instictually act that way when confronted with humanity and anything they deem dangerous.
