As a fan of gaming, Bloodborne looks fantastic to me. I can't wait to try out the weapons and bosses. I've seen a lot of "Downgrade" theads, though, but it doesn't really seem like there's a lot of proof for an actual downgrade, did it ever happen? Let's get a nice thread going, for once.

Not because they make the final product shit, but because it reflects the state of gaming right now. They shouldn't be lying about their products pre-release. Work in progress footage should represent a work in progress. I feel like Nintendo are the only company left that releases prerelease footage inferior to the final product, with a disclaimer that it's all unfinished.

Don't listen to /v/. Downgrades has been a part of games since the fucking dawn of time. Why? Because as development goes along and more things get added, some things have to be cut to make the game run properly. Has Bloodborne been downgraded? Sure, to some extent I am pretty sure it has. But so has every other game under the goddamn sun before release because some things simply does not work in the final game.
You could blame this on consoles, but that's another argument.

When I saw Bloodborne get confirmed exclusive to the PS4 I legit teared up. All I had to show for my $900 rig were a few toaster exclusives that didn’t even require a gaming rig and consolized ports optimized like garbage. Every online based game that wasn’t a prehistoric FPS (like Counter Strike and TF2) or an MMO/MOBA (like WoW/Dota) had a weak as fuck community that for the most part died in a matter of weeks. Apparently all my fellow PCbros were too busy jerking over their rigs on /r/masterrace and /v/ to bother to play games, the other PCbros on TF2/Dota (etc) were all ruskies that owned pitiful netbooks.
Finding out GTA V and MGSV were delayed also triggered me greatly.
I frequent reddit /r/masterrace and /v/ just so I can feel apart of a ‘master race’. So far this title (that for the most part gets laughed at) has been the only saving grace of gaming on PC.
Seeing the PS4 lists always trigger me greatly, knowing that a cheaper alternative is getting these great games, seeing all the rave and hype at IGN/E3 revolve around this console just saddened me to the point of alcoholism. Why do developers treat us like this? We are humans too, we have feelings.
This isn’t a falseflag, just a confession,. I will not upgrade my PC any further and instead buy a PS4 and Wii U.

Is 100% accurate for me, it's why I stopped upgrading my PC and just got one Sony console and one Nintendo console each gen.
I can run most of PCs new exclusives on my toaster, it renders and upgrade useless to me. Not to mention the fact that PC exclusives are underwhelming as fuck.
The only one I can think of that i'm hyped about is Bannerlord and even then PS4 has 5 more games not coming to PC that i'm more hyped for.
