Does reincarnation help as much with the generic characters? I know the story characters get a 5% increase in all aptitudes the first 5 times they reincarnate but I don't know if the same applies to characters you create yourself.
I hope I have the right equipment this time because I really don't want to go make another Trapezohedron and spend time duplicating it in Class World.

Is that with Maxed out Aptitude on Mao as well? There's a limit cap on that right? I'm just worried that I won't hit it because my Trap got messed up or something. A guide on gamefaqs says it should have 348,500 in all stats and 696,800 in the ATK stat since I put 8Gladiators in it.

Okay, well a lot of the item maxing stuff out there is more or less outdated, since you can multi-kill item gods in D3Vita, meaning that as long as you don't clear floor 100, you can enter it, kill the item god and then gency out, and your item will keep leveling up and gaining stats until you hit the hard cap of 1433519 in all stats, which you can increase slightly if you have Gladiators everywhere, to I guess, 1593503 if I remember the numbers right.
and no, generics don't get the 5% boost, I don't think, but you can still get decent aptitudes for them via class world of course.
And yes, that's maxed out Mao, with all perfect gear and perfect aptitutes as well as all items with dieticians for the HP boost, I do admit though that my reincarnations could probably be a little better to max out HP slightly more.

FUCK I already cleared floor 100 because I thought after the item reaches level 200 it doesn't add to stats anymore. I'm screwed and i'm gonna have to do this all over again aren't I? essentially you do have to start over, but you honestly might as well dupe them for now, and max aptitudes, and your characters should be pretty good, like you really only need to max everything if you want gigantic numbers and to kill Baal in the LoC, otherwise you don't need to max all that much.
And I just meant to keep doing class world runs as you go, you can do them whenever you want, since you'll be reincarnating a lot anyway, and they will never hurt you for doing them.

If you don't know what rarity matching is then you might want to consider that, since it makes a big difference, but just make sure it has, or will have the same rarity as your weapons later on, other no, anyone you want, the difference in stats is just from innocents already in them.

Use rarity 0 for sure, and basically all items have a rarity, and if your equipment has the same rarity as each other you get a stat boost (a significant one).

Thankfully, you can complete the main campaign in each Disgaea game around level 100, which takes less than 40 hours.
If you wanna do extra shit, most of it can be accomplished near level 1000 (which doesn't take nearly as much time as you'd think).
Getting max stats for everything is hyperautistic, sure, but Disgaea basically has tiers of commitment for whatever you're willing to put into it.
OP here, I just beat normal Tyrant Lord Baal. I brought out my level 1000 Majin with three of my Trapezohedrons equppied and spammed Land Demise at the corner of the map about 10 times until he died.
