Bravely Default is super excellent from a mechanical perspective.

Just stop playing after Chapter 4 and you'll walk away from it happy.

Knights in the Knightmare is kinda eh overall, but it's totally unique and can't be done on any other system. It's a combination Strategy RPG/Bullet Hell.
