I don't really have a problem with "sick dark." I think it's a fun phrase to describe this game. Bloodborne looks great, but you're in denial if you think Fromsoft isn't trying to make this game as edgy as it can be. Definately buying a PS4 with this game and DQH. DQH is another great looking game whose atmosphere counters that of BB.

I'm pretty sure it will be a new gimmick as different starting character builds start with different numbers of them. "Waste of Skin" starts out with ~20 compared to the others that had ~130. So most likely a lower amount will be worse or make the game more difficult, and a higher amount will make it easier.
That's just speculation though, it could be something entirely different, but keep in mind on the menu screens released it was in the same place as humanity was in DaS.
