What does /v/ think of Sengoku Rance?
I wish the system wasn't so confusing because it's actually an interesting tactical wargame. Also the art is great, too bad about the loli rapes etc.

No there is a reagonal map and you spend action points to make decisions about upgrades, troops, and fight battles. It's quite detailed but typical of Japanese PC games there is no real way to figure out good strategies and there are tons of "gotcha" decisionpoints where you can miss content. You basically have to read a guide to even get started.

It takes some time to get used to it. I had to spend some time doing random shit to fully understand the game's mechanics. After that the first run is really easy, then you can do shit like alternative routes and completing objectives to unlock some stories.
