I actually have a book worth of first gen holographic pokemon/pocket monster cards, a good number of them first edition. I was a huge pokefag and collected them like crazy. I'd have to say about 400-500 holo cards total just sitting in my attic.
Are these actually worth something? I figured they weren't worth much and just keep them for sentimental value.

I personally have a copy of Conkers Bad Fur Day. It's a little rough, but works great. Pretty happy with the 30 I paid for it in 2008. Other than that, I have about 70 Nes games ranging from dirt cheap to about 60 bucks. Same for the Genesis, although games for the Genesis are either 1-20 bucks, or 60 and up. Not much of a middle ground with the system, but thankfully, the majority of the library is super cheap and fun to collect for.

Neither of those games are rare. Xenoblade was artificially inflated price wise by Gamestop in America thanks to it's exclusivity there. Gamestop sold new copies at one point as "Used" to justify selling them for 90 dollars a piece under the guise of them being worth more than gold. Also Dokapon Kingdom isn't actually rare either, it's just uncommon. Got a copy for 50 dollars a few years ago.

I have a Conkers bought from retail first day it ever game out. What upsets me is the sticker is half rubbed off. I never took care of games as a kid. I kind of want to get a nice new copy but I'll keep this one. Holds a lot of nostalgia.
Also found out Digimon World is considered a little rare recently. I still have mine but somehow the front of the case is gone. Must have gotten shattered. Too bad cause it could have brought in some dough.
Other games I no longer have and pretty damn sure I never sold: Mario Party, Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, Smash 64, Pokemon Stadium, and Pokemon Snap. Thats just off the top of my head. Im sure there's more. Those might not be super rare but I'd love to have them in my collection again and they're going for more than I'd be willing to pay for them.

These are all Japanese carts, but due to how the AES works, the BIOS determines the region/language of the game, and I have a switch in the back to go between English and Japanese.

If it's on paper, use a hair dryer to heat the sticker until it can be removed easily, then rub some white flour onto any remaining residue, heat again, and gently rub away.

I have a bunch of obscure Japanese handhelds, and I store them in a old big wooden felt-lined Dominican Republic cigar box with some packs of desiccant.
keeps them dry and clean, and as a bonus they smell like high grade cigars which is absolutely wonderful.
I highly recommend it if you smoke cigars, that you buy them by the box and save the boxes for storing things.
Not only will you save a lot of money by buying in bulk, but you will have a very wonderfully fragrant collection.
