The story isn't that good to be honest, especially in Oath in Felghana where it's a collection of JRPG cliches basically. The gameplay, on the other hand, is god-tier. Every dungeon has excellent design, and the battle system is so addicting and fun. This applies for all the other Ys games I played (Ys Origin, Ys I and II)
