Last one I ever bought was Portal 2, and that was because of a specific reason that I can't remember
Do they even still exist? I thought they just came with steam codes or some shit or you still have to use uPlay/Steam/other DRM platform.

That was around 8 months ago.I still haven't played it.
I bought Battlefield 4 physical because it was too big for my old internet cap. Would've used up a third of it back then, but I've since upgraded.
Own a physical copy of AvP 2 because it's one of my favorite games ever made.
Also picked up a few games at FUCKING GAMESTOP because they were cheap.
I still buy recently released boxed PC games because they're cheap as fuck compared to Steam when all they really are are a fast-track Steam installation.
The only PC games on disc that aren't in a box in my attic are TF2, Half Life 2 episodes, Kotor and Battlefield 4.

Instead of selling a single disc that was up to date, the disks were packaged as "updates". You had to build the game DVD by DVD, with patches constantly downloading in between each installation. It was a nightmare!

Yeah, I have a 12GB a month dl+ul data cap, So I pretty much need the disc, and half the time the game needs a 5GB update so even if I have the disc I can't play it.

I probably would buy them if there were any physical copies of new PC games being released. The last games I checked, though, ended up being Steam keys or something requiring online registration to work. A "physical copy" that requires an internet connection isn't anything I'm interested in.
As it stands, the only time I'd bother with a physical PC game anymore is when it has some physical merchandise with it. There just isn't a point.
