How the fuck do I build my team? Is dancer even remotely useful?

Dancers are primarily supports and pretty crap damage dealers. I use mine to proc links from my landie and stun people with her passive when she's done buffing.

No retard, the whole thing with using link shark is for the part to set up as many hits as possible so the links can activate to do chase damage.
That's why you can use a dancer to attack and get extra hit procs and archers to do the multi hit skill.

Nah, any attacks that can trigger multiple links each turn is solid.
Although nightseeker is pretty strong by itself if you just skill his nerve/venom throw paired with auto spread for great damage on mobs or bosses with multiple limbs and swift edge for link procs.but late game is all about abusing imperials bullshit drive skills

Nah, they're shit.
That is, if you consider stun-locking bosses with a brazilion hits and mad Landshark synergy to be shit, then yeah.
Dancers are pretty crazy, but they really depend on the rest of your team to be good, there's so many things you can with them.

Okay, thanks for the help.
I used this party for the entire game. Never had any major difficulties.
Landshark was sub Nightblade for dual wielding, Fortress was sub Imperial, Dancer was also sub Nightblade.
Medic was sub Arcanist, and Runemaster was sub Medic just for Revive.
Outside of the specified sub spec uses, I really didn't use much in the way of the subclassing.
