After a few training missions you join the team, and then missions play out like SAC episodes with arcs and the like. Maybe the game wouldn't be open world though, I don't know, but there would be plenty of surveillance, reconnaissance, thermoptic camo infiltration, undercover investigation, anti-terrorist operations, corruption investigations, basically everything that this shitty Nexon game won't have.
Third world with extensive visual customization and cyberization. Also the best part - voiced by the original English SAC cast.

I was helping to work security at a convention and while I was walking with her and the other VA's to a restaurant nearby (it was around the corner from the convention but they wanted to have security escort them because nerds are zergs and they rush.) she was such a sweetheart answering a few of my question about how she got into the industry and what it's like working at conventions from a VA's viewpoint and as you can see she's a bomb shellAND HAS A TWIN SISTER WHO IS A TEACHER! A twin milf twin sister with the voice almost similar to her's, it fucking blew my mind.

Remove all GitS elements from the game and you have Blacklight or futuristic COD, and its an actual good game.
But adding GitS characters to a game like this is an insult to the fans.

Well holy shit, it really is Christmas.

Severe second and third act problems.
The first part of the movie is fucking golden. Terrific atmosphere, music and a perfect set-up. Batou is dealing with the Major's departure (and the knowledge there's a whole other reality he will never get to experience with his waifu) and everything's really interesting.
Then it all goes to hell the moment they leave the city to watch CGI parades, pontificate Matrix-level philosophy for 20 minutes and engage in some cool action intercut with retarded security robot jargon for whatever reason.
That and the main mystery just isn't that compelling. So some girls wanted to be freed from captivity and they used gynoids to do that. Okay.
Still, I love the movie for the atmosphere, music and visuals alone. The melancholy noir feel is my favorite part of GitS and Innocence still has that intact through to the end.

Just play neotokyo and get good, it's a fun game that actually requires skill, more positional/awareness than aiming. Plus the OST is amazing.
