I was immediately excited, it was such a great feature in Brawl and doing it with Kid Icarus characters is such a perfect fit, it was one of my favorite parts of Uprising. All the ones in this thread are just awful though, please stop.

The thing is Hades is almost completely an invention of the Treehouse's translation team. He's much more of a typical villain in Japan, which is why he's not as present as we in the west would like.

The codecs were cool because it was famous characters using the iconic, recognizable codec system to talk about nintendo characters. It's not really cool when Kid Icarus does it.

Japanese Hades is really plain and like the other guy said just another regular villain. The Treehouse went crazy with the dialogue and did a tremendous job.

If Hades can go from meh to VOTY, then Wario can have a decent conversation.
Besides, the fart is the most satisfying, most humiliating, and the most spectacular move in the entire series.
I wish there were a way that Olimar could have a smash taunt where he gives biological descriptions of who he's fighting like the Piklopedia, but I can't think of a way it'd work since he speaks gibberish and it doesn't really work like that in his games.
