Because he's in alliance with the other remaining Sith who were part of Revan's Empire. The alliance is broken during the events of the game but presumably he enjoys the taste of life filled Force rich planets like Telos to somewhere like Malachor V or Korriban.

People (the party members) are drawn to him/her and he/she brings out the force in them and gets stronger from it. Evil Exiles feast on their power and turn them into their own loyal, dark thralls, kinda like Darth N, while Good Exiles influence them in the opposite way.

There actually isn't much point in gimping them, a lot of the feats they get from their initial classes are really good. Mira for instance is much better with two blasters and all of the precise shot feats than she'll ever be with lightsabers.All of them have low wisdom meaning they can't really cast forcepowers well anyway, so you only really need to give them buffing powers like speed or heal. This means that missing out on adding force powers from earlier levels isn't that big of a deal since all of the offensice powers like stasis field, lightning etc aren't worth taking anyway.
Handmaiden is the only one that's even worth the effort to convert, the rest are better as the default class for most of the game.

Going all powers that arent armor restricted, mostly just CC. Its pretty important to go consular for force focus so that your cc actually works. But with high enough dex and limiting the people that are hitting you all at once it works really well. Do really good damage with master rapid fire
I am however worried when i get later in the game and have to deal with lightsaber enemies. Hopefully can still hit them

I always give the PC a dual-blade and then go for whatever with everyone else, and make each blade color as different as possible so when there's 4+ saber blades all attacking at the same time it's a fucking rainbow of death. I've never gotten my entire party jedi because i dont know the metagame to pick which dialogue option for each character on each planet, but i'll always end up giving everyone force heal so i never have to worry about health packs anywaysone time i tried convincing disciple to become jedi and he didnt want to so i trained him as a blaster master, then talked to him again and then he wanted to be a jedi, thus giving him fuck-all for skill points to put into melee/lightsaber training

What is the proper planetary order in Kotor 2? there are some great sets of armor throughout the game that give you enough dex bonus at any dex level. I think not too far in you can find one with 11 def and +11 max dex modifier, also, if it has +7 dex, that doesn't mean +7 defense, it means up to +7 of the defense acquired from your dex stat is applied to AR. so if you have like +5 dex modifier, but your armor has 0 max dex modifier, you get nothing extra
