Never stated. What is known, though, is that almost all Elder Scrolls are copies of copies of copies of three original Elder Scrolls that were stored in White-Gold Tower at some point. One of them is broken for some reason.

Nords are really only generic at face value and I don't think it's even possible to think of the Khajiit or Argonians as generic. None of them weak. The Nords are historically bullshit strong and produce shezzarines by the fucking dozen. Khajiit are usually too chill to be bothered with doing anything but remember that they went to moon BY STANDING ON TOP OF EACH OTHER. Argonians are (in my opinion) the strongest race on Tamriel. When Black Marsh was invaded by Mehrunes Dagon the Argonians weren't on the defensive; the fucking invaded Oblivion and wiped the floor with the daedra. Dagon had to shut down his Gates there because the Argonians were so full of piss from the Hist.

I think you meant to reply to me and yes the Nords are very strong. Why did you think the Empire was so keen on keeping them around? Nord warriors are hardy as fuck and very powerful when they get to shouting. Despite the gameplay concessions made in Skyrim (be honest, did you only play Skyrim?) lorewise the ability to Shout is solidly a Nordic and Dragonborn ability. Dwemer and Redguards do some similar stuff but it's not Shouting. Even without shouting you are ignoring that sufficiently powerful Nords are basically walking elementals. Check your lore brah, Nords are ancient and tough as fuck. I'm not even a big fan of them but you need to know this stuff for context.

It's not a mod, it's an open source engine designed to run Morrowind. Think of it like someone trying to code their own version of Morrowind from scratch, but instead of scratch they have access to all of its assets.
Because of the goal of the project and its open source nature, it will run as if it were a modern game and take advantage of modern graphics standards without the need for special extenders or other things. This means better compatibility, less hassle running the game, improved graphics right out of the starting gate, and the ability for anyone to go in and make improvements to it. On top of that, since the entire engine is accessible, changes can be made to anything at all, such as reprogramming the UI or overhauling the animation system. Old mods will work, but new mods can be much more diverse.
It's exciting for Morrowind fans because it will respark interest in the modding community and make the game more accessible to fans of Oblivion/Skyrim.

A citizens militia, organized by local merchants and nobles, all armed with silver weapons, donated by everyone who owned any, came to the aid of the army.
Renewed, the citizen militia and army made a desperate charge at the gate, managing to regain most of their lost ground.
While this was happening, the elders of House Redoran were busy activating an ancient safeguard built into the city to deal with invasion...
They began to use necromancy to revive the crab.
Emerging out of the ground with a mighty tremble of the earth, the crab joined the fight. The oncoming Daedra, though beings of torment and magic, were taken aback by such a sight.
As night turned to morning, the forces of Ald'ruhn held their ground, chanting the entire time
