Welp, looks like I'm gonna show you another Fire Emblem ROMhack. This one seems to be by the dude who made that one Soldier in The Last Promise that I never used.(Ace) Anyways, let's start, shall we?
No fancy trip, title, or FAQ today. This is only six chapters long. Turns out I mixed up this game with the "prequel" which is an Eliwood Mode reskin. This is apparently "original".

Shadow Dragon is a DS remake of the very first game in the series with not all that much added, so it lacks some mechanics and polish that other games have. Awakening is good for an entry to the series because it's easier and more accessible to anyone not familiar with the games. FE7 (just called Fire Emblem) on GBA is also great for a beginner.

Start with the things you don't need to pay for.
Emulate the older ones first and then try the awakening demo again.
Awakening is alot easier and more focused on support conversations.
If you've played the first ones, the xp and weapons DLC will make you shit bricks.
Support conversations were a fan favorite of the earlier games to spice things up a bit and contained some funny dialog. Awakening just dials that up to a 100.
