Ordered a pro duo adapter and tomorrow I'm going to be installing Pro CFW on my psp and I'll have around 32GB to play with.
So I'm curious about what games /v/ recommends I try on the psp? I've never really used one before this will be my first time.
I've already got the ISO for MHFU set aside, so aside from that, what is worth playing on the psp?

I heartily recommend this game, it's got amazing replay value and online multiplayer, not to mention character creation and everything else amazing that comes with PS games. I'm considering buying a PSP again just for it, and I would buy a vita if Sega would bring it to the west, fuck.

They actually did release it on the US PS Store, but then had it removed for reasons unknown. I bought it, so it's still available in my download list. Won't transfer to Vita though.

P3P has easier combat, a female route, and is practically a visual novel outside of the dungeon. FES has additional content including an epilogue but no girl route, less user friendly combat, and allows you to explore the city.
Play FES if you want to experience the actual story. If you want to play as a girl play P3P.

I've also looked at emulators and stuff, because i want to be able to play some of the old games i like on the go.

Android runs everything from PS1/64 to DS games at full speed just fine, so consider getting an attachment if you have an Android phone. If you don't, you're shit outta luck because Daedalus won't run anything at a reasonable speed unless you play around with options for 30 minutes.

I've tried all of those except for Pandora's reflection and Ragnarok Tactics. In my opinion, the most notable ones are FFT, Gungnir, Tactics Ogre, Wild Arms XF, and Yggdra Union.
I don't know what genre the Valkyria Chronicles games should fall under, but they are definitely worth playing. 3 is much better than 2.
Hexyz Force is a traditional JRPG. It's fairly good though.
Z.H.P. is a roguelike. I didn't like it, but I seem to be in the minority on that one. I just don't care much for the game mechanics in NIS games in general.

Me neither, but it was still pretty fun the way they combined their SRPG battle mechanics into a roguelike. Reminded me of Azure Dreams.

Vice City Stories, LCS kinda falls flat in my opinion in terms of gameplay but if you're biased towards a city then you should pick the one you're biased to.
