Where Hades just kinda lazily slaps and punches at the stage, shoots lasers at it, just kinda mucking around with the fighters. Then when he's tired of it he inhales and swallows the stage.
Afterward you're assaulted by a charging Hades' heart and a number of Underworld enemies sucked in during the transition. If someone defeats the heart, it explodes as stage boss elements are want to do and the stage - and its fighters - are coughed up.
From that point the stage resets its cycle.
