A fat woman walked into Gamestop today. She asked if we had any games with strong female protagonists. I said there were plenty: Metroid, Tomb Raider, Bayonetta. But those weren't good enough for her! Oh no! She said they were all too pretty. Too sexy. She said she wanted a protagonist who looked like her.
I told her it would just too hard for the developers. Why, just to render her rear end they'd need more polygons than any game made in the last eight years!
Now I don't know when they started letting women carry rocket launchers...

What is a comfy space game to play, /v/?
I played the x4 stuff, but the rush to expand in Sins and the like makes me feel not comfy. Strike Suit did the space thing pretty well by feeling like 3D, no-gravity space without any "up" or "down," but it's just an arena combat sim.
I want a game where I can go around space, explore, maybe customize a bit. I don't mind the battles, but I want that freedom and comfy feelings. Does anything come to mind?
Freelancer is the only space game with exploration, play it.

I bought killer is dead just because I love suda 51's style of cell shading. I also bought wind waker because I loved the art style. Cup head looks amazing from what little ive seen of it so chances are I am going to buy it and love it.

yeah, pretty much. although some of the OST can be downright weird with the fucking silly sounding vocal synth
also, there's two ways to play the game: classic wireframe mode, or modern dungeon crawler mode. In classic wireframe mode, all of the tunes are re-sampled as 8-bit chiptunes.
So effectively, there is an 8-bit OST and a modern OST (like the one I linked), and different tracks sound better as one or the other.
