Why do modern Nintendo franchises have this soulless, sanitized look to them nowadays? They look like fucking plastic, completely emotionless shells of former interesting characters...

How do you guys feel about the recent influx of games that include stripping/clothing damage elements as a main selling point?
Even if they manage to have good gameplay, are they for the most part dismissed simply due to their somewhat controversial gimmick?

It's kinda realistic because in a real battle against unarmored foes, materials such as cloth really do get ripped, torn and shredded.

Hey /v/, I want to make a game. Like, actually make an indie game, seeing that shit through to the end. Even when it reaches the consumer and then gets torn apart like every game SHOULD.
But how should I start? Art and writing are both easily doable; Actually coding and making the game is what's stopping me.
Anyone know any online tutorials/books that could help me make my vidya a reality? I've got a solid idea and want to start sketching concepts, but the whole actually-making-the-game part looms over it all.
That's kinda my bag. I can write, do business management, and I'm pretty sure I can compose music, but art and coding are WAY beyond me.

There becomes a point where rune magic starts bringing everyone down when you're in a party. Only go for mandatory magic like phoenix incantation/extra item stock.

Roy is pretty much the weakest link(heheheh) of the FE reps. He isn't strong enough to match up to the others, and his speed doesn't help.
I'm not able to carry people across stages like Marth players can, so I can't comment.
