Well you already pictured and mentioned most of my favorites, but the others are Mechwarrior 2. and Front Mission.
Why does /v/ hate the Vita so much?
It's just a nice portable game console with some fun Jap and Indie games.

Short answer: people will shitpost about anything
Long answer: people might feel burned about buying it, sony stop stupporting it and it's now a literal indie machine
Also it doesn't help that most of the niche Japanese games are coming to PC as well.
How come you Sonicfags never talk about the Sonic GameGear games? I've been playing through all of them for the first time, and many of them are surprisingly fun. In fact, Sonic 1 and Sonic Triple Trouble are good enough that I would recommend them to anyone who is a fan of the series, and wants to try something new from the classic era that's not the genesis games. Shame about the small screen of the GG though.
Also, has anyone here played Tails Adventure?

I never really found the Game Gear titles that interesting. I haven't played them in a long time too. The only ones I would play are Sonic Chaos and Sonic Triple Trouble. The others are inferior versions of Mega Drive games and mediocre spinoffs.

Now obviously you'd go for the 6GB version and ignore the 3GB, but the problem is that this now allows Nvidia to price the 6GB higher, because the 3GB version will be the one they use when they tell you the 1060 is priced "Starting at $240" or whatever. And then of course, with 1070s sitting at around $500 online, the 1060 will immediately shoot up to at LEAST $370 the day after launch.
God this sucks. On some real shit, fanboy nonsense aside, Pascal and Polaris look fucking great. 1080 with partner cooling is beastly, 1070 hitting 980ti performance for $380 once prices settle will be excellent, and I think the battle between partner board 8-pin open-air 480s and the 6GB 1060 after the 3GB hopefully gets phased out entirely will be awesome for everyone. Once we get to where things are supposed to be, this gen of GPUs will be glorious. But fuck this rough start, seriously. When everyone was told to wait before upgrading, this is what they were supposed to be waiting for. But now it turns out we have to wait longer if we don't want to get dicked in the ass.

We got dicked over once the cards were announced and didn't come with HBM and HBM2. I agree, it sucks. The keep waiting mantra is endless. Same shit with Intel. Wait for Skylake... Not a big difference. Now we have to wait past Kaby Lake, which is only mostly a die shrink...
I know it isn't a new idea, but I'm working on a video game where one of the plot points is that characters have what are essentially stands (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) assisting them in battles. I want these stand-like entities to mirror some sort of psychological component of the characters they are with, conscious or subconscious (Persona). These stands also have unique abilities, also very much like Jojo.They are going to be mostly humanoid in shape, and they will talk and have their own distinctive conversations, dialogue and motives, but ultimately they're still bound to their user.
Here's my question: how can I distance myself from this idea to the point where I'm not just straight-up copying these anime tropes? Can you guys think of any other games where characters receive their power from other-world allies like this? I honestly can't think of any others off the top of my head.

The gameplay is kind of a mess. It feels like they didn't have time to balance certain aspects of it like the fusion system.
The new demon designs don't match at all with Kaneko's.
The OST is mostly fucking great but it has some annoying or boring tracks.
Exploring Tokyo was fun, fuck casuals.
