You know, all this talk of ironic/post-ironic new wave memes and comparing it to the good ol pre-ironic meme era got me thinking.
What if there was a meme tycoon game of sorts? The goal is basically to keep fresh memes in the run and make sure no meme becomes stale or a particularity bad, annoying meme never gets picked up. There can also be spontaneous memes that happen outside of your control and its your duty to either ignore them if thye are shitty or capitalize on them>
Just a dumb thought though, I'm sure nothing good would come of it but I figured I'd share with you guyssince you're my pals.

He's one of my favorite channels on YouTube honestly. Many of his old stuff is autism incarnate, but you can tell that he's super passionate towards his YouTube channel, which you don't see a lot nowadays. After he moved on from covering Nintendo games exclusively and broadened his videos on reviewing other games, he's gotten a lot better. Not only one of my favorite channels on YouTube, but also one of my favorite reviewers. Although the only problem with his videos are his skits, which can be cringey most of the time.
Convince me not to buy this

well the character controls are an improvement from DaS1

>no real sense of progression, you can go from the hub to 3 different points at level 1 with no real consequences because two of them circle you back into the hub
>das1 had fun combat because you had to outsmart the enemy by knowing what he's gonna do next, while here you get that one asshole in no man's wharf with the same windup animation for 4 different attacks
>worldbuilding is bad, le time is le convoluted
>the level design is awful and the location of phantoms has no ties with the boss you're about to encounter and are there randomly
>there are bosses at every corner, and bullshit like "this boss is just ornstein from the last game, also he leads you to nowhere of interest"
>if you want to play online, the soul memory system is completely fucked
tl;dr if you enjoyed the things that made DaS1 great you're gonna find that it threw them all out the window and made it "lolsohard"

Won't happen, for one because her living would change too much of the plot and that would require too much work. And also, they will probably make it more apparent that Sephiroth is the true villain, since he has such a huge fanbase and making him look like a pawn would anger too many of them.
