Wasteland 2 got re released as a directors cut for free if you bought the game on steam. They fixed the UI problems and added in all the stuff that was missing.

What is it about this game that made it so wildly popular and turned Final Fantasy into a mainstream franchise in the west?
It was fun, had good music, had(then) fun combat, Materia is still a good system, it has an incredibly diverse cast that has become legendary.

I followed the instructions and was able to get PT, and my computer hasn't shown any immediate negative effects from installing the program and running the batch file, so you should be good.
