My damn PC can't even start Path of Exile. Initially, it gets stuck at the loading screen, then the screen just becomes all black.
The strange thing is that I shouldn't have any problem, both according to the steam page and to system requirements lab, pic related.
Is there anything that I can do to play it?

Back in beta PoE was running well on my similar toaster (AMD 3850, Athlon 5400+ 2.8, 4Gigs of RAM).

Yeah, that's why it's so frustrating, it doesn't make any sense. The fact that it works on basically every PC is also the reason why I can't find any possible solution using google, which makes it even more frustrating. Oh, well.

It's an amazing combat system trapped in a mediocre game.
But yes I have played it for almost a decade now and it's still fun to pick up and play.

Basically this. DMC4 Dante is probably the deepest action game character ever, and likely will never be topped. And the extra characters that SE adds (Virgil, Lady, Trish) are incredibly fun.

It's only good as to revisit Half-Life. It's also missing Xen, so factually it's incomplete.

As someone who loves Half-Life (but hadn't played it in almost a decade) it was excellent, though largely fueled by nostalgia. I don't know if playing it so soon will do it for you, just ask yourself how much would you be willing to pay to replay HL1 with prettier graphics I guess.
