The only reason this got a lot of game of the year awards is because the devs are nice people and because the frontrunners (Fallout 4, MGSV) ended up being disappointments.

People who break a game down into a series of actions that you have to rinse and repeat every game really do ruin the games. The same thing happened in Payday 2 once people learn the best ways to complete heists, it just becomes a checklist rather than a game.

I feel like they could have done so much more with this.
None of the other warhammer games are even vaguely like Vermintide. Though if you like the setting you may want to try Mordheim. I hear it's somewhat Xcom like.

You guys told me it was better than Undertale. So far I'm bored out of my mind wandering around a stiffly designed canyon with uninteresting combat and edgy characters.
What is exactly is the charm of this game? When does it get good? I'll give you guys the art is great, and the soundtrack is very hit or miss.
