2D Beat em Up set in Imperial Japan where you go around beating other Ninjas and Samurai with your two swords and armored cat
You can throw the cat at enemies and bring it back using your leash in case you need to dish out long range damage
The Two swords are for enemies who are up close and need to be sliced
You can use points to upgrade you and your cats armor or your swords. The more you upgrade your cat's armor, the more damage it does to enemies.
Final Boss is dog owner samurai with the same attacks and specials as you.

This. Get the final cut, it's good amount of hours to play and pretty fun. Might want to nab a rebanlance mod, the game is playable with all the classes but gets a little samey late game without one.

I wasn't really alive for the older RPGs but i've been trying out "retro" games and I found one called "Baldur's Gate"
But some things I noticed:
1. Baldur's gate has a much better variety of spells you can cast. And way more classes/races you can be. And the alignment system is interesting.
2. Baldur's gate has a better atmosphere even though the graphics are some of the most terrible of any game i've ever seen.
3. Baldur's gate has a much better story.
4. Skyrim has better gameplay
5. Baldur's gate is much more difficult than Skyrim.
Also I still haven't beat Baldur's gate yet I just started this game, but are there any modern RPGs like this one? Sorry if this topic is banned or whatever, I just never saw an RPG like this before, or as fun as this, so I want one like it with good graphics.
