I played it (not with VR) and it looks very nice, but I died and it restarted me somewhere that I had no fucking idea where I was. That's when I uninstalled and refunded it.
It needs some more gameplay elements other than literally floating from place to place to collect shit to activate the escape pod.

soma esque underwater exploration with more action based combat, some perk system that enhances different types of playstyles, melee weapons and guns that are upgradable. also plot isnt bound to bioshocks infinite shit plot but is built upon something after bioshock 2.
maybe the plot changes between the perspective of a dude and a big daddy and then you later realize its the same guy that has some kind of schizo shit going on.

There cannot be another game set in rapture, the mystery and intrigue are gone. I'd go for a dystopian cyberpunk setting, some giant city in an almost post apocalyptic world. Think street gangs, mega corporations and AIs (basically any William Gibson novel). Level design would have a greater sense of verticality than previous games, with some sort of device allowing you to double jump. Could call it Cybershock. Another system shock on a space station would be shit, the setting has been done to death (Alien Isolation, Dead Space games)

Also, how do you faggots not like this game? Visually its gorgeous. Cutscenes and music cues are extremely well timed and executed and the game itself is challenging and rewards well-timed attacks and constant paradigm switching.

Challenging? The same patterns of paradigm shifting beats any fight. Most of the time I didn't bother for trash fights because a ravager/sentinel/healer combo would win via auto-battle. I'd just mash X while I browsed the web until a victory screen came up.
The only "challenges" came in the endgame on Pulse, since the game finally let you branch out in different directions, thus you could potentially go somewhere significantly higher level than you. Even then, it didn't take much more to beat hard things.
Ultimately, FFXIII's battle system felt like they said "Hey, FFXII had auto-battle and it was ok. Let's use that, only we'll remove the ability to customize the AI for it, and have it make absolutely retarded decisions all the time."
Countless times I'd be fighting something that had extremely high physical defense, and instead of using ruin or an elemental spell, the non-controlled units would spam basic or elemental strikes. There was no way to tell them "Hey, dipshits, Thunderstrike hits for 40, but Thunder hits for 5000."
It made a lot of battles drag unnecessarily.

Publishers think, that thanks to Denuvo and new Steam regional pricing and sales policies, they can up the prices on PC games to even them with console games.
I, for one, will not buy any 60€ game on PC. They can go fuck themselves. Don't allow them to level us up to console retards, who HAVE TO have more expensive games, so Sony, M$ and Nintento can earn their money back after selling their machines at a loss.
If people accept the price increase in addition to shitty port qualities, day one DLCs, Season Passes, exclusive content etc. then I can pretty much assume gaming is dead.
