I for one and hoping to be accepted as a member of my family with this one.
I am so fucking done with PC gaming. Shit simply does not work as intended. Right now I downloaded SOMA from gog and tried to play it, but I can't because this fucking piece of shit game has massive screen tearing and weird framerate fluctuations. I spent 30 minutes trying to fix it but it doesn't matter if I turn on vsync, leave it off, force it on the drivers, cap the framerate to 60 or 30 or 59, this fucking game has massive framerate drops and screen tearing. I have a GTX560Ti which is more than enough to run the game (not that changing the graphics makes any difference with the tearing).
Gaming on PC is just bullshit, games don't work properly and have all sorts of weird issues. I can't even remember when was the last time I played a PC game without all kinds of weird issues that ruined my experience. Fucking hell, even emulated games run better than native PC games. Googling for the issue brings up the usual neverending stream of nvm i fixed it, i pm u the fix, and weird tweaks that make no difference. I'm sick of this shit.
I was undecided to buy a 970 to upgrade my PC or a PS4, but after this last straw, I guess the choice is obvious.

DOF can be OK in FPS, but that's about it. Motion blur is terrible period.
SMAA above 2x isn't necessarily required on higher resolutions either.

Just got it recently. I have a lot of minor issues with this game, but I'm enjoying it, glad I didn't pay full price though.
Biggest problem is how bare bones the versus mode is. 5 minute time limit, no difficulty settings for cpu so guaranteed wins, and local is pure ass. The game is way too focused on the created characters and grinding when I really just want to play with the original characters.

If you took out the Capcom game and Tri Force Heroes, then the timeline would make far more sense. Those games are the reason the current timeline is a mess since they don't mesh as well.
