When you played Ocarina of Time, how were you supposed to know there was a bigger wallet? No one tells you it exists.

Are there any good games that deal with depression?
Games have trouble conveying the murky feelings of living with depression. It's easier to make people laugh or cry.
Depression Quest is good because it makes you depressed when you realize that there are people out there who genuinely want to destroy your hobby.
Silent Hill 4.
The whole series really (1-4) but mostly 4.
To a lesser extent, Dark Souls. Hollowing is a major story beat qbich is when an undead loses their mind as a result of depression and hopelessness.

Maining isn't good, but you will always have a character you're better at and would prefer playing.
This is the worst, most infuriating experience I have ever suffered through playing a video game. I cannot believe that people actually enjoyed this game, and just the knowledge that they did makes me want to kill myself.

La-mulana > Super Metroid > Symphony of the Night.
Aria of Sorrow and all the handheld castlevania's would have surpassed SotN had they not been released on handhelds.
The majority of indie metroidvanias are repetitive, uncreative, and easy to make and lack a satisfying sense of progression.
Metroidvania as a genre is more useful of a term than Metroidvania as a description for a type of castlevania game.La-mulana 2 will be shit.

La-mulana is bad. There are many other great games in the genre. But I somewhat agree, many of the indie games are underwhelming to say the least.
