I got some good times out of deception 2, fuck those shoguns though. I enjoyed Trapt as well. I bought deception 4 but never got around to it especially after it got stolen, bought a new copy and never touched it either.

Just bought an Xbox 360 since Microsoft ceased production finally, pic related. Already got all the Halo games (except 2 obviously), Fable 1-3, Gears 1-3 on my list. I'm sure there are some other interesting exclusives after all the years on the market, but have been completely absent from the Xbox side of gaming for years.
Recommend me some more games that you think are essential please.

Tomb Raider 2 was always pretty comfy for me. The Venice and Tibet levels were atmospheric as fuck.

Vice City is a good choice. Played through it all again when it came out when I bought an iPad.

It's a pretty arcade-y take on the hack&slash genre, it's good and extremely polished like most blizzard games. Haven't played since a few months after release though.
I was bothered by how easy it was. You need to play it on the max available difficulty for it to not be boring. But then you unlock the further difficulties and the enemies just get more health. I dunno, maybe I'm just not into diablo style games anymore. Couldn't vent finish pah of exile.
For what it's worth, the first play through was interesting in that you could try out all our different spells and whatnot. I got the game on sale and I don't regret my purchase, but I wasn't able to play it much more after completing the campaigns.

Everything about these games looks super different. These are the best looking entries in the series in a LONG time and I don't understand how people can see them as generic schlock.

EA was a mistake.
Normal vidya players were finally willing to accept that EA is a shit company but those sluts at Disney just couldn't resist EA's bid for the Star Wars license, and of course the Star Wars fandom is mostly comprised of masochists that will buy anything Star Wars related even if they hate it. Which means EA now has some success to get published literally everywhere to make all those normal vidya players believe EA must be pretty o.k. if they're so successful, right? I've met those guys who buy the sports games every year and they seriously pay no attention to gaming as an industry. They just gotta have their sports, man.
I'm not even a key demographic for any publisher anymore so who the fuck is even going to listen to me.
