I'm not a shill, but i feel like DOOM has been unfairly judged by the cynical lunch mob of /v/
Let's talk about problems with the older Doom, to make us realize they weren't perfect either
Starting with this upgrade, it's supposed to make you invisible but everything will still be able to see you, and they've never patched it in decades!

played 3 hours, here are my thoughts
>they upped the speed, it has a nice pace
>they take the training wheels off really fast, you get most of the weapons fast and they throw hell knights at you like it's nothing by the 2nd/3rd level(i was on hell on earth)
>glory kills are okay, you need them at the start because all the guns have low ammo caps til you upgrade your suit, but you never have to use them if you dont want past level 2
>glory kills are actuallyfun
>large varietey of enemies, 4 or 5 levels in and still haven't seen them all
>map design is pretty great, shitloads of secrets, very far from linear
it's also funny that doomguyjust punches the shit out of everythingstorywise
to those that have actually played it, what are your thoughts?if you haven't played it fuck off

/v/ is trying really really hard to hate this game, but it's actually pretty good. /v/ is wrong 90% of the time.

The golem boss. You fight it on a quest you get from the pub.
The worst part of all - I couldn't get his yellow item drop. I only managed to bind its arms once during the whole fight.

You should be able to outdamage Golem's regen by the time you fight him, i.e. post-game.

I might be wrong but I believe they also have different unlockable characters. You might wanna look into which set you like more, but in terms of the soundtrack, you're definitely better off with the PC version's soundtrack
pc has better soundtrack, more control options, and level editorr. not sure if wii u has a level editor or if you can DL usermade levels

As a former NeoGAF member, I guess it's because no one has made a better forum yet? I've been looking for one even close to as active as GAF, but no luck so far.

Also window spots help a lot, but I've gone days before anyone has picked up anything I have there.
