I agree the game could have had more cutscenes, better written dialouge, and not having a slowmo scene happen every 12 seconds. But maybe that was the point.
The game is a slog. It was meant to be set up as a microtransaction cash cow from the start. No effort was put into the story. But maybe that's the point. Maybe the point is you should appreciate MGS for what it is and move on. Be your own Big Boss. Follow your own Path. Or follow the same fate as Ahab. Simply to be disposed of. His rise, rather, your rise, his death, rather, YOUR death. Could be the same if you continue this silly fantasy.

90% of kiefers lines were taken out of the game. Kojima literally made this decesion and everyone thought it was a joke at first.

Though seeing as how it kind of makes the final installment of a decade spanning franchise a spin-off is sort of hilarious.
There's a lot of cyberpunk media coming out in the next few years, most notably Cyberpunk 2077 and the new Deus Ex.
What do you usually expect in a cyberpunk video game or even media in general? Is rain and sax playing in the background mandatory?

The game is dead on every platform, which is a shame because it's pretty damnfun.
But hey, that's what you get when you charge $60 for a multiplayer focused game with no campaign and only a handful of content at launch. Same thing happened to Battlefront as well.
Hopefully, EA has learned their lesson with those two and will instead let their respective sequels have ACTUAL CONTENT before charging $60 for it. Not likely though, since it is EA we're talking about.

Glad to see a thread about this game. I think it was pretty awesome. The gameplay was great, so was the environment. What I didn't like were the levels where you only fetch stuff and talk to people. I'm fine with levels like that in general, but there were too many of them.
Anyone else, walk into Gamestop, and help customers out, Im friends with some of the staff so they really dont care, and I know way more then they do.

I usually go Tracer/Pharah for the early part of the match and switch to Reinhardt near the end.
Reinhardt is good if you wanna be useful always, but zarya is good if you wanna test your skills at being a useful tank. Timing your Project Barrier is hard, but incredibly rewarding when you do it right. I landed a project barrier on Mercy after Tracer stuck her, and it was amazing!

Wow. Lorian and Lothric won that? I thought the Champ had it for sure. Not that I'm complaining, both are great fights. The Twin Princes definitely had the better sound track out of the two fights.
