Would you buy the PS4 version of these games if you have a bad laptop/pc ?

on the plus side it is really cheap for the ps4 these days so if you think youll like the game and you have no other way to play it i wouldn't let it hold you back too much

Will consoles ever be as slim as the PS2 slim anymore? Or is it just no longer possible with bigger GPUs and more powerful CPUs?
considering that gaming is slowly turning digital-only, and that modern cellphones are already starting to be stronger than high-end consumer PCs a decade ago, there's a good chance that one of the next-gen "consoles" will literally be a tiny box, not much bigger than your largest mobile phones out there now, and may utilize streaming for many features, even games.
Maybe, though doubtful when they now need a hard drive and a dick drive.
Given that modern consoles are stuck using laptop tier APUs I wouldn't count it out.

Why are casuals doing this? It has nothing in common with Zelda and today when people play Zelda they're expecting a lighthearted adventure, beautiful, colorful places, feel good melodies, crazy NPCs, gimmicky fights, many puzzles and 10/10 polishing, also some more Zelda lore puzzle pieces. What does Souls have to do with any of this?

It is good when Souls games are too hard for casuals, but not when Nintendo games are too hard for casuals.
You say all of that like it's a good thing. Zelda has become too campy. The puzzles are made for 4 year olds. The combat has barely changed since the N64 20 years ago.

Zelda is an adventure game focused on puzzles and exploration with some combat.
The Soulsborne games are adventure games focused on combat and exploration without any degree of puzzle solving.
A more accurate example of a better Zelda game is the first Darksiders.
Why is it so hard for devs to create emotional stories these days?
Games are fun and all, but from an emotional POV they are close to bankrupt.
Reminder that this is the real reason people still rave on about FFVII to this day.
