That's what the mods already did. Bethesda's upgrade will probably still be worse than the 4K texture packs. Plus, graphics were really the smallest problem of the game. They aren't fixing the horrid combat, NPC interaction, endless Draughr dungeons and etc.
But as usual, all Bethesda cares about is 'muh atmosphere'. So changing the graphics is pretty much all they think is needed.

I know most are not happy with a remake, but if it is coming to PC this can mean allot of things.

Am I the only one who prefers this new direction of Prey to the older one?
Prey 2 looked great, don't get me wrong. But as a horror fan, I'm really happy to be seeing a fairly big studio make a unique game with that genre in mind. Consider my hyped.

It's not about the specs, it was never about the specs. The NX could be 2x as strong as the PS4 and third parties still wouldn't touch it. Why else were there so many games that came to the 360 and PS3 but not the Wii U. Also this >>340979204
