I'm moving to a place where I will not be able to buy games and will not have internet access. I'll be there for two years. What games should I stock my hard drives with?
Well get emulators and the whole libraries of PS2/1, Snes, GB, GBA, DS, N64, Wii, GCs.
Make sure you hit up HOMM III, that will keep you going for about 300 or so hours.
Civ V is great to play while watching a show.

I do! I've been playing her recently and I'm completely destroying literally everyone I 1v1, even fucking tanks like Reinhardt. Granted, she's not great in every role, but on point defensive and KotH she's nuts.
I don't even mind, she's fun as hell to play.

Ok memelords. I'm in the market for a new GPU. I currently have an AMD Radeon HD 7970, and the two cards I was considering were the GTX 1070 and the RX 480. I play on a 1080p 60Hz setup with two monitors currently, but I might upgrade to 1440p in a year or so depending on how prices go. Which is the better buy for my needs?
I was pretty much sold on Nvidia but then I heard about how good the new Doom runs on the RX 480 with Vulkan. Are a lot of new games now going to run better on AMD cause of that?

I am in the exact fucking same boat as you GPU wise, except that I am in need to power a 3440x1440 ultrawide and that my 7970 is not with my anymore.
I tried Vulkan on the 7970, and I got 55-60fps on high settings, so am really starting to wonder if I should opt for the RX 480. Currently only Talos, Ashes of Singularity and Doom support Vulkan.

Yeah, I play Total War Warhammer a lot and since it's optimized for AMD I wonder how it'd run. I have a $100 Amazon gift card so I could get a RX 480 for cheap.

I feel like the 7th generation of video games has all these underrated gems that no one has really fleshed out yet. What are some other forgotten games of the 7th gen that are obscure and fun to play?
