It all sounded plausible until the anniversary collection. Why would Sega make that when almost all of the Sonic games are on Steam? Instead Sega could just put The Fighters and Sonic R onto steam and redo Sonic DX to make it playable, and idk put it all on sale for a month?
Also, taxman versions of Sonic 1 and 2? Why would Sega sell fanhacked versions of classic sonic games?

Creativity pool has run dry. I mean what else can you really do at this point? Plus, most devs have found a formula that generates income, and that is the only thing that matters to them now. Consumers will consume, so why be inovative and original when you can just not be and still make tons of money.
