I remember seeing a video from him where he basically says that the press is fucking scum and that kotaku staff members won't be missed.
He did also say that he would stop making content that revolves around drama and stuff, because of his limited time.
Funny thing is his drama stuff (I will now talk x minutes about y) is making him the most money and he hasn't stopped at all.

Only producing "good" critiques on vidya seems like a really bad dicision, since people who shit on video games or it's devs get the most money, exposure and popularity.
If I was him I would just quit my job all together and spend the last few years with my wife and kid, but he seems to be obssesed with leaving something valuable behind.

Why do some games on PC have such poorly optimized features? I went back to replay this just for giggles with my new GTX 1070 and everything set on ultra was actually keeping my FPS around 25-35. What the fuck.
Then I found out about that "NVIDIA Hairworks" shit and disabled it and stable 60 all the way. This wasn't even 4k or anything, just standard 1080p. Why even include such a thing? 30FPS loss isn't worth it for cutscene hair gel unless they expect you to have a 1080 or Titan or some shit
What's wrong with having features for highest tier cards? It makes it look less dated in 10 years too
doesn't matter which game u play, nvidia's hairworks is always very demanding and worthless.
Because future hardware can take advantage of it. It's the same reason The Witcher 2 has ubersampling even though no possible hardware at the time could use it with good framerates
