We're done here.
Why is everyone so pissed about cel-shading? I think it looks great, even in Wind Waker.
>>342969483
Apparently everything either has to look realistic, or grey and gritty. Everyone seems to be allergic to vibrant colors.
>>342969483
Might just be me, but everything about that picture looks like absolute horseshit, I tried enlarging the picture but that made my eyes sting from the poor quality and overused bad lighting.
Whoever made that shit should honestly kill themselves so no one has to lay eyes upon this crap image again.
>>342969483
I love cell shading but nintendo add too much bloom and fog.
I'm hyped for future games when they reach gilty gear level though.
The Ur-Quan literally did nothing wrong.Let's talk about the greatest PC game ever made.

Hey /v/
>whats your favorite class?
>what gamemodes do you play?
>Warriors are almost bigger shits than Dragonhunter-Trappers in PvP / WvW amirite?
>Do you like the new Raid and where raiding is going?
>>342969247
Only mode I play is WvWvW, PVE is just a joke in GW2. Play necro, guardian, engineer and warrior. Bought HOT but then got a refund so not tried the new specialisations or whatever they are called.
>have gw2 already
>have to pay for the update
no thanks
>>342970476
true, PvE is pure farming and mostly repetetive. I like teh idea if raids and those mechanics, but i dont want to wait 1 hour just to find a decent group.

I never really got this either.

It still blows my fucking mind that nobody ever bothered to fix this, even ten years later they still couldn't fix it.

Quick post your sex mods.

first time i went there i thought they were raiders for some reason, so i blew em all to hell with a grenade rifle. i went from Neutral to Hated with one 40mm grenade.

So how is Space Engineers? I noticed on Steam it's got a pretty nice sale of 70% off, but it's an Early Access game with quite a bit of conflicting reviews. One concerning theme with the negative reviews is that it seems to have the same critical flaw as DayZ in that the devs do no sort of bug-fixing and instead keeping adding layers of content that also come with their own bugs to make it more of an unplayable game.
I'd still like to really try it because I really like the idea of building your own ships with somewhat open-ended design schemes.
>>342968031
I'd like to know this too. I'm debating between this and KSP but this is cheaper.
>>342968031
Did they fix the Planetary Lag?

> Did they fix
Hahahahahano
Fuck this boring game.
>Muh Realism
Oh fuck off
>>342967882
Nah, I found some good friends who I've now known for about 2 years from mods such as Altis Life - before it became a cancer cesspool full of 13 year old cops.
>>342967882
Need friends to play it, it's not a game but a platform
>>342967882
I was disappointed that the campaign lacks combined arms, because I expected operation flashpoint.
Besides that, I ended up loading tons of mods for real world vehicles into the editor and flew around in them shooting at randomly placed npcs, like I did in operation flashpoint.
All in all, it was what I expected besides the campaign and the wannabe futuristic non licensed guns (thank you, mods)
Are they releasing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided in August just so they can make an "aug" joke?
They did the same thing with Human Revolution
It's going to be shit anyway so who cares.
There's no way they can get it right a second time.
Screencap this
>>342968824
but I loved Human Revolution
>>342968824
I'm sure it'll be fine.
Should I play this? I heard it had a lot of problems. Can someone fill me in?
>play it
>form your own opinion
Don't give me any shit about not wanting to waste time, you post on /v/.
It's basically Mario 64 with fewer, but better, levels and with a jet pack to help with platforming. People don't like it because the ending is crap and the game is "unfinished" because a lot of stars are for collecting blue coins.
>>342967251
>I heard it had a lot of problems.
Not really
Anybody played this? Looking for JRPG to waste time with and it's pretty cheap on Steam right now.
For some reason it dies not work on windows 10. So just a heads up.
It's very complex and grinding just raise the difficulty.
Haven't played it myself, but I heard playing this game is an exact science. If you grind too much, it gets significantly harder or some shit. Too little and you can't get through.
how do we stop sony?
>stopping the good guys
Why contain it?
>>342966891
All those jap games and no censorship.
Take notes Nintendo
I miss multi-disc games. There's a great sense of catharsis, anticipation and adventure when you finish a disc. All the best multi disc games always had cool ways to separate the discs, the one's that come to mind for me are Aerth's death, the destruction of Burmecia and getting on the boat to go to the island in Resident Evil 4.
Multi disc game thread? FF9 thread? Whatever.
>>342967160
I agree that the multiple discs made many games feel more expansive and epic. Having the two MCs have their own discs in RESI made their stories feel a bit more unique.
I don't, if you bought pre-owned games, it meant you could get through half the game before realising one of the discs is fucked. This is why I couldn't finish FF8
>>342967160
I don't miss the physical aspects of multi-disc games but I do like the ways they broke large scale adventure games into distinct acts with their own climaxes.
