So what does /u/ think of Burst Angel? I read the prequel and liked it but I also read that the anime doesn't have a "happy" ending.

Manga is great.
Anime is okayish, but ,unlike the manga where Joe and Meg are clearly in love, the anime has Joe only give subtext that she loves Meg and Meg shows complete trust in Joe but her lovey dovey attitude from the manga is gone.
