I don't understand the point of Shiniez and Sunstone anymore.
It's not erotic at all, suddenly everything changed.

The whole comic is based around the idea of escaping fantasy and entering a real relationship. So yeah, you're going to see less pin-up style scenes over time.
Personally, I thought the comic where the two of them just straight up have regular sex without toys or latex was the hottest scene in the whole series.
It wasn't really intended to be porn, sure it was erotic at times but the focus was not "TONS OF HOT LESBIAN BONDAGE SEX"
I think it's still a fun read.

This reminds me; it always annoys me in some fanfic where bondage is prevalent throughout when they end the last scene on something purely vanilla. Like, what, you can't show that two people love each other without removing all of that stuff? Or was it that all that stuff was just essentially the cherry on top, and not something below skin-deep or intrinsic?
It vexes me.
Shiniez vexes me for entirely different reasons though- namely that the guy can't write very well and he's overly preachy about the BDSM 'lifestyle' or 'community' or whatever. But I'm not sure that can be helped.

I think someone who writes off an entire style of comics on such an arbitrary definition is impoverishing themselves. I didn't mind his preaching, I had a very different impression about bdsm before reading it, thought it was more abuse and that shit so it opened my eyes to even other stuff or bdsm works and I changed my mind.
