I love translating for /u/, personally. Posting tls as an anon means that the work you put out just speaks for itself, no grandstanding or holier-than-thou shit. You can get called out on for any mistakes and use the criticism to improve your tl skills in future, no hurt feefees involved. You can also offer your own input on other tls with impunity. The result is that most tls coming out of /u/ are pretty solid overall.
I only do moon so I don't have any experience posting in this thread, but as a lurker it certainly seems as though there's a high turnover rate with translators here because people point out corrections and someone ends up getting offended to the point of removing themselves from the discussion entirely.

Well at least most us sejufags, we didn't think it as who is better than who. For us, Sumin also plays a part in the blame. What Seju did is wrong, but it's also an action triggered by Sumin's by blaming Seju for her parents death and calling their engagement ring as stupid. They were together the night Sumin's parents died, Seju /probably/ (since this is my interpretation) have her own worse feelings and guilt for that and to have your lover blame you on top of that might make you feel times the worse. Plus seeing your lover not caring about herself and their future together, adding it more. Take a look from Seju's pov, who doesn't understand what it feels like to lose someone so dearly. Like Gaji said, Seju wasn't able to put herself in Sumin's shoes and relate, hence she keeps pushing and pushing Sumin to move on and care about more about herself. For Seju, Sumin is the only one she cares about and doesn't want to lose. But in the end, out of hurt by what Sumin said to her, she ends up doing a mistake which makes her actually lose Sumin. Again, what Seju did was never right, she was trying to hurt Sumin. But at least it was once, and she learned from her mistake and trying to fix it back (by no longer drinking alcohol, never cheat on Sumin again, trying to apologize to Sumin). The psychotic part, it is up to how you interpret things. Wanting for someone to suffer is not right (well maybe in this part, she is a bit psychotic), but in Seju's pov, Sumin is everything to her. As long as Sumin never left her, she would rather see Sumin suffer and came back to her again rather than Sumin moving on and never comes back again. As long as she can make things right from her own mistake (to be together again), waiting for Sumin until she dies will be worth it. Since they have been together for so long and since young, Seju might not be able to see Sumin just as friends, yet. Hence why she would rather stayed in the fucked up relationship for years.
