Anzai really gives Sae from peach girl a run for her money. At least Anzai gets given her come uppance and suffers for her actions, whilst Sae gets off scot free and the mangaka gave her her own fucking spinoff manga where the MC and the boyfriend whose lives she spent an entire manga trying to ruin are still friends with her and celebrate her birthday.

Life is one of my all-time favorite manga; it's raw, uncomfortably realistic yet it's not gratuitously edgy. The subtext is icing on the cake
