Pacing has been fine...so far. A little draggy recently, but not too bad. Stretching the confession out til the final chapter however - I can't see how Ssamba can pull it off without feeling like the whole things stagnated. Ideally the confession would come in the next 5-10 chapters, and even after that they don't have to start dating right away.

I like it. It's easier not to be upset at the "lack" of progress when you know what kind of story you are reading. There are only two chapters where I was disappointed: the ex comes in as she's confessing and the last chapter where the tension from the previous night did not carry over in the slightest.

This sure gets complicated. I can't imagine why ssamba keep making Seola suffer. I feel like the main issue here is them being both girls but author won't say it directly. All those seduction, hands holdings, almost kiss are enough reason to spill it.
I get the feeling next chapter Norae will get sort of drunk then Seola will confess but Norae will pretend and forget. I lost all my hopes of expecting something good. It gets shot down one after another.

I like that 66 is finally up/out, but I feel like you that things have been dragged out and progress has been slow for the most part. I feel like "not much" happened in 66. In the chapter they flashed back to they made a bit of progress by handholding and making plans for the future. Since it still seems like it will be quite a while before we see them kiss or have sex (if they ever to either) the only evolution I can picture them having in the near future is them hugging or cuddling together.

I think it's that way because No Rae has sorta already resigned herself to "not gonna happen." She's got that whole chip on her shoulder when it comes to romance, and seems to have contented herself that staying by Seol A's side, even as just friends, is enough. Seol A on the other hand is an extremely proactive personality when it comes to sex/relationships, so this insecurity of what to do is hitting her really hard.

I'm actually not bothered with No-rae's ex bf at all. Not only because he's a good guy, but also because he's no threat for Seol-a at all, given how it's clear No-rae already chose Seola instead of him. I might have been bothered if No-rae is wishy-washy between him and Seol-a, fortunately it isn't the case. It's kinda fun actually seeing Seol-a keeps being clamjammed. I'm in no hurry to see them being a couple (that's actually how most het romance series work).
The more interesting plot point at this moment, for me, is the dead Yuji and her little sister Yuna. As I understand it, Yuji crushed on Seol-a during their school days and that's why she spoke those cruel words in an attempt to convince herself she's not gay. My current hypothesis is that Yuna is going to make her sister's wish come true by falling in love with Seol-a in her stead. The appearance of Yuna will finally make No-rae jealous and take action.
But there's a possibility that Yuna will only antagonize Seol-a instead of creating a love triangle. Who knows.
